2

Day 2 & 3 - Rabat

Travel to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and one of its most elegant cities. Visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, then enjoy Rabat’s calmer and more refined atmosphere. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 5 - Volubilis and Moulay Idriss

Continue to Fes, one of Morocco’s most rewarding historic cities. Explore the old medina, artisan quarters, madrasas and famous tanneries. A local guide can be especially useful here, as the medina is large and easy to get lost in.

5

Days 6 & 7 - Fes

Spend the final part of the trip in Fes, one of Morocco’s richest and most fascinating historic cities. Explore the old medina, artisan quarters, madrasas and famous tanneries, and discover Al-Qarawiyyin, founded in the 9th century and widely recognized as the world’s oldest continually operating university.

This itinerary moves at a comfortable pace for most travelers. Those who prefer to slow down even more may want to spend less time in transit and more time in Rabat or Fes.
