Day by Day Itinerary

1

Day 1 - Arrive in Agadir

Arrive in Agadir and settle in before starting the coastal loop. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy the beach promenade, the marina or a relaxed seafood dinner by the ocean. Overnight in Agadir.

2

Day 2 - Agadir to Taghazout

Head north to Taghazout, Morocco’s best-known surf village. Spend the day enjoying the laid-back atmosphere, ocean views and easy coastal walks. Overnight in Taghazout.

3

Day 3 - Taghazout and Paradise Valley

Use Taghazout as a base for a trip to Paradise Valley, a palm-lined gorge known for its rocky pools and mountain scenery. Return to the coast afterward for another relaxed evening. Overnight in Taghazout or Tamraght.

4

Day 4 - Taghazout to Imsouane

Continue north along the coast to Imsouane, a small seaside village known for its wide bay, surf culture and slower pace. This is one of the most scenic and distinctive stops on the route. Overnight in Imsouane.

5

Day 5 - Imsouane to Essaouira

Drive north to Essaouira, one of Morocco’s most appealing coastal cities. Its ramparts, fishing port and medina give the itinerary a more historic and atmospheric stop while keeping the ocean front and center. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 6 - Essaouira

Spend a full day in Essaouira to enjoy the medina, the port, the city walls and the relaxed seaside atmosphere without rushing. This extra day gives the itinerary a better balance and keeps the coastal rhythm enjoyable. Overnight in Essaouira.

7

Day 7 - Essaouira to Agadir

Return south to Agadir, following the coast back toward your starting point. This is a useful transition day before heading to the wilder southern section of the itinerary. Overnight in Agadir.

8

Day 8 - Agadir to Tiznit, Sidi Ifni and Legzira Beach

Head south from Agadir toward Tiznit, then continue to Sidi Ifni and Legzira Beach, one of the most dramatic coastal landscapes in Morocco. This part of the route feels more remote, more rugged and visually stronger than the surf coast to the north. Overnight in Sidi Ifni or near Legzira Beach.

9

Day 9 - Sidi Ifni to Agadir

Enjoy a final look at the coast before returning north to Agadir. Depending on your onward plans, you can either stay one more night or head directly to the airport. Overnight in Agadir or departure.

This itinerary offers a relaxed overall feel, but it still covers a fair amount of ground between the northern and southern Atlantic coast. Travelers who want a slower and more restful trip may prefer to spend longer in fewer stops.
